Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-21

Mock3D (“Mock3D”, “we”, “us”) is operated by an individual developer based in Bulgaria (not a registered company). This policy explains what data Mock3D collects when you use the app or website (the “Service”), why, and how you can have it deleted. It applies regardless of which specific features, plans, or pricing the Service offers at any given time — those change; this policy describes the data practices, which don't.

Contact for any privacy question or request, including deletion: supp.bld.tech@gmail.com.

The short version

Mock3D does all its rendering on your own device or in your own browser — building the 3D scene and encoding the finished video never involves a server of ours. What we store is your account identity, your project settings, and the media you add to a project: the screenshot, screen recording, or audio file you put on the device screen is uploaded to private storage so the project still works when you reopen it or switch devices. Nobody but you can read it, and deleting the project deletes it. The video or image you export is never uploaded — it goes straight to your camera roll or share sheet.

What we collect

Account & identity.

  • An anonymous account identifier is created automatically the first time you open the Service, so your projects and entitlements can be recognized without asking you to sign up.
  • If you choose to sign in (to sync across devices, or after a purchase), we store the account details the sign-in provider returns — currently Google, which gives us your email address, your name, and a link to your profile picture — and link them to your existing anonymous identity. Signing in is optional; the editor works without it.

Project data.

  • Project settings you create — device/scene selection, camera and animation choices, text layers and their styling, timing — are stored so your work is saved and can sync across devices.
  • Media you add to a project — the screenshot or screen recording shown on the device screen, and any custom audio track — is uploaded to private file storage, filed under your own account. It is stored so the project can be reopened later or on another device, exactly like the settings above. Access is restricted to your account: no other user can read it, and it is not public on the internet. Replacing the media overwrites it, and deleting the project deletes it.
  • Anything you never save into a project stays on your device. Frames we decode from a video, the live preview, and the export itself are held in memory only.

Exports.

  • Finished videos and images are rendered and encoded on your device and delivered straight to your photo library, downloads, or the system share sheet. They are never uploaded to us and we never hold a copy.

Payment data.

  • Purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe, depending on where you buy. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and which entitlement it grants, and we keep a record of those purchase notifications so we can answer questions about your license. We never receive or store your card number or full payment details — those are held solely by the payment processor.

Technical data.

  • Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, error diagnostics) collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

We do not currently run analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

Why we collect it

  • To operate the Service: save your projects, recognize your entitlements, and sync across devices.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud/abuse.
  • To provide support when you contact us.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax records for payments).

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run Mock3D, each acting under their own privacy terms:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for the catalog, your project settings, and your project media.
  • RevenueCat — validates App Store and Google Play purchases and tells us which entitlement you hold.
  • Stripe — payment processing for web purchases.
  • Apple / Google — payment processing and account sign-in for their respective app stores/platforms.
  • Google Fonts — the text tool downloads font files from Google's font service as you use them, which shows Google your IP address.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, it's under their standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account, project, and project media is kept for as long as your account exists. If you don't sign in, an anonymous identity may be cleared automatically after a period of inactivity. Payment records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law even after account deletion.

Deleting your data

To delete a single project and its media, delete the project in Mock3D. Its settings and any screenshot, screen recording, or audio you uploaded to it are removed with it.

To delete your whole Mock3D account and everything in it, email supp.bld.tech@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account, from the address you signed in with. Mock3D has no in-app “delete account” button yet, so this is the way to request it.

If you never signed in, your projects belong to an anonymous identity we can't look up from an email address. Either delete your projects in the app, which removes them and their media, or sign in with Google first — that keeps the same identity and attaches your email to it, after which the request above works normally.

We delete your account, project settings, and uploaded media within 30 days and confirm by reply. Payment records we are legally required to retain are the only exception. Mock3D Pro is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription left running after deletion.

Your rights

If you're in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at supp.bld.tech@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights.

Children

Mock3D is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the update.
